Paris Olympics: Vinh of Vietnam ranked fourth in women’s shooting
Vietnamese shooter Trinh Thu Vinh finished fourth in the women’s 10m air pistol final on Sunday, missing out on a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Vinh scored 198.6 points after seven throws.
Breaking the Olympic record with 243.2 positions, Goodness Ye-jin from South Korea won the gold medal. Her compatriot Kim Ye-ji won the silver medal, and Bhaker Manu from India won the bronze medal.
Earlier, Vinh had a successful shot to advance to the final when he scored 578 points after six series of ten shots, ranking fourth in the competition.
Meanwhile, rower Pham Thi Tint secured a spot in the women’s single sculls qualifying round on July 28 when she finished second at the event, finishing the race in 8:00.97 behind Joanie Delgado from the Philippines in 7:55.00.
